At Be Rutless Counseling, I believe feeling stuck doesn’t mean you have to stay stuck. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, relationships get complicated, old patterns stop working, or you realize the life you’re living doesn’t quite feel like the life you want.
That’s where counseling can help.
Be Rutless was created to provide a safe, welcoming space where individuals, adolescents, and families can slow down, feel heard, and work through the things keeping them from moving forward. Counseling here isn’t about judgment, labels, or pretending life is perfect. It’s about understanding where you are, recognizing your strengths, and finding practical ways to create meaningful change.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and individualized. Together, we can explore patterns, build healthier coping skills, improve relationships and communication, strengthen confidence, and develop the tools you need to navigate life with greater clarity and purpose.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, major life changes, relationship struggles, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation, family challenges, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
You can heal. You can grow. And you can get out of the rut.
Be Rutless. Because life is too short to live in a rut.
Hi, I’m Jessica Hinton, LPC Associate. I work with adolescents, adults, and families navigating difficult seasons, feeling overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or ready for something in their lives to change.
My counseling style is genuine, encouraging, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be themselves—without feeling judged or like they have to have everything figured out before walking through the door.
I use an integrative approach to counseling, drawing from evidence-based techniques while recognizing that no two people or families are exactly alike. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, develop practical skills, and feel more confident navigating whatever comes next.
And yes, sometimes counseling is serious. Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes there’s humor involved too. We’re human.
Support. Growth. Healing.
